As a fun trivia, the background painting is called "Passage to Home" and is painted by Schim Schimmel. I use to have a small print of it in my childhood. Kinda neat to see it pop on here.

And yes, I am just as concerned about preserving this info which is why I'm going to try and fill that section in at Segaretro wiki as they are in the process of documenting whatever is available about Ecco due to the recent resurgence in popularity
